Bobbie Overbey is the founder of Selah Community Care Foundation, holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and is pursuing her Master of Social Work. Her experience as a Direct Support Professional, respite provider, and Certified Peer Support Specialist has shaped her commitment to helping people feel supported, respected, and valued. Through continued education, professional growth, and service in ministry, Bobbie brings a strong foundation of faith and compassion to her work. She created Selah with care in mind and inclusion at its heart, a place where people of all abilities and backgrounds can experience belonging. Guided by God’s love and the belief that every person has purpose, her vision is to help individuals recognize their strengths, build meaningful connections, and grow toward their own goals. At Selah, care means seeing the whole person, honoring their choices, and ensuring they feel loved and encouraged to become their best.
